In this Program, you will acquire essential skills that allow you to evaluate and interpret medical reports to accurately code diagnoses, services and procedures that have been provided to patients. Additionally, you will learn how to process patient billing from the time the patient makes an appointment until the bill is paid in full. You may find employment in a variety of settings including physician practices, hospitals, diagnostic centers, insurance companies and medical billing companies.

Graduates of the Medical Administrative Assistant Medical Coding and Billing Certificate will have the knowledge and competence required to take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam.
