The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at Butte College prepares students for state certification through coursework in basic nursing care, safety, infection control, communication, and legal/ethical principles. Successful graduates are eligible to take the certification exam and pursue employment in hospitals, care facilities, and community health agencies.
