The Sonography (Ultrasound / Diagnostic Medical) Certificate program at Chattanooga State Community College is a 12-month course that begins each fall semester. Accredited by CAAHEP, the program offers comprehensive training in sonography, preparing students for certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, and private practices, with the demand for skilled sonographers exceeding supply in the health care industry.
