The Medical Assisting Program at Capital Community College aims to equip students with essential skills for a career as a medical assistant. The program emphasizes clear communication, legal and ethical considerations in health care, and active participation in the health care team. Students are prepared to pass the national certification examination.

About Connecticut State Community College

Connecticut State Community College (CT State) is a public, comprehensive multi-campus community college formed through the merger of all twelve community colleges in Connecticut on July 1, 2023. 

The college is headquartered in New Britain and offers both 2-year and 4-year institutions, as well as online and on-ground programs. 

It is part of the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) system, which oversees Central, Eastern, Western, and Southern Connecticut State Universities and Charter Oak State College.
