The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Cuyahoga Community College prepares students for entry-level positions as sonographers in hospitals and health care agencies. The program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree with specialties in adult echocardiography, vascular sonography, or abdominal extended-obstetrics/gynecology sonography. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, graduates are eligible to apply for national credentialing exams in their chosen specialty.
