Comprehensive Professional Medical Coding

This comprehensive 24-weeks program utilizes the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) curriculum, and is designed to prepare individuals to take the Live Remote Proctor Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Exam. Upon successful completion of the program and passing of the CPC Exam, students are offered optional access to the AAPC web-based Practicode to earn one year coding experience. The program covers topics such as CPT Coding, HCPCS Coding, ICD-10 Coding, Medical Terminology, and Anatomy and Physiology. Learning environments include traditional classroom, virtual classroom, hybrid, and online. Classroom-based courses may be offered both day and evening. The online course is available 24/7 and is suggested for those with prior coding or healthcare-related experience and/or independent study experience. The hybrid course is a combination of online coursework with selected mandatory Saturday classes. All courses provide the support of an instructor.
