The Medical Assisting program at Indian River State College has a tuition cost of $3,328 for Florida residents. This cost does not include additional fees and expenses. For instance, Clinical Paperwork Tracking costs $28, and there's a Health Science Selective Admission Fee of $30. Students also need to budget for a Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check, which costs $100. Other costs include books (approximately $393), uniforms (around $200), supplies ($125), and a graduation fee ($65). The cost for the Certification Exam is $250, but members of the professional organization can avail it for $125. Optional membership to the professional organization costs $31.
