About Lake Land College

Lake Land College is a public community college located in Mattoon, Illinois, founded in 1966. 

Serving approximately 3,742 students in Fall 2022, it offers a range of academic programs including Agriculture, Allied Health, Business, Humanities, Math & Science, Technology, Social Science & Education, and various coursework programs. 

The campus is situated on 308 acres (1.25 km2) and has seven major buildings, eight supportive structures, two campus ponds, and a 160-acre (0.65 km2) agriculture land laboratory.
