The Nursing Assistant program at the Alva Campus of Northwest Technology Center prepares high school juniors, seniors, and adults for careers as certified nurse aides in long-term care facilities. The program offers 501 hours of coursework, including medical terminology, anatomy, and CPR/First Aid, and provides opportunities for advanced standing credit in licensed practical nursing. Graduates are eligible for certifications such as the Long Term Care-Nurse Aide and CPR/First Aid.
