- Pathophysiology covering disease etiology, symptoms, and treatment
Certification Preparation:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Exam by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam offered by the American Medical Technologists

Prerequisite Courses:
- Mathematics Proficiency: MATH 020 Elementary Algebra
- English Composition: ENGL 111
Clinical Experience:
- Medical Assistant Professional Practicum providing hands-on administrative and clinical experience in a medical setting

- Second Semester (Spring): MATC 121, MATC 116, HLTH 109, HLTH 107
- Summer: MATC 128
