The Nursing Assistant Program at the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. College of Health Careers is a 6-week, full-time education program comprising 153 hours of instruction. It is designed to prepare students for certification as nursing assistants, enabling them to provide care in health care settings such as hospitals and nursing facilities. The program is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and includes both classroom learning and clinical practice.
The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. (RCBH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of residents along the U.S.-Mexico border. Founded in 1991 by President and CEO Amanda Aguirre, RCBH operates multiple healthcare facilities and education centers across Arizona, including the College of Health Careers in Somerton, AZ.
