The Nursing Aide Certificate Program at Rock Valley College prepares students for entry into the health care workforce and offers a pathway to allied health and nursing careers. The program includes flexible scheduling options and requires students to complete 80 hours of classroom theory and 40 hours of clinical experience. Graduates who achieve a grade of 'C' or better are eligible to take the Nurse Training Competency Evaluation, a prerequisite for the Nursing A.A.S. Degree program.
