The program also covers administrative skills like medical charting, filing, word processing, computer information, customer service, and routine office procedures. Additionally, students gain real-world experience through a six-week externship. Ross Education Center emphasizes certification preparation and supports graduates in taking the Registered Medical Assistant exam. The flexible course structure allows students to complete six modules in any order, providing a tailored learning experience. The comprehensive curriculum includes topics like medical office procedures, medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, administration of medicine, and professional growth and communication.
Ross's medical assistant program takes 30 weeks (day students) or 36 weeks (evening students).
