The focus of the course work will be Outpatient Coding that will include CPT, icd-10 and HCPCS. The classes meet every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. At the end of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion that is equivalent to one-year coding experience. The first 14 weeks are classroom work and the 15th I will proctor the certification exam. During this course, you will be given chapter quizzes, a practice test at midterm and a final exam. Test are taken in a class setting, however, there are options for online testing, if located out of state the AAPC website can provide a testing location near you. (http://www.aapc.com)
