The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program at NYSCAS is a full-time, two-year program designed to prepare students for a career as an entry-level sonographer. This program includes both classroom study and clinical rotations, equipping students with the skills necessary to perform abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological imaging techniques. Graduates are eligible to apply for certification exams with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
