The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program at Truckee Meadows Community College is a one-semester course designed to prepare students to assist professional nurses in providing direct client care. The program equips students with the necessary skills to enter the health care sector or to pursue further education in Allied Health Science programs. Successful completion meets the Nevada State Board of Nursing eligibility requirements for certification exams.
