Skills Taught:
- Administrative Tasks: Scheduling, insurance processing, billing, collections, and computer operations
- Clinical Procedures: Assisting with examinations, laboratory procedures, electrocardiography, and medication administration
- Ethical and Legal Knowledge: Training in ethical and legal issues in patient care
- Certification Preparation: Preparation for the American Association of Medical Assistants’ Certification Examination
