The Medical Assistant program at Metro Tech focuses on equipping students with essential clinical and administrative skills required in ambulatory health care settings. The curriculum covers cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills, and affective behavior learning, including medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, clinical procedures, pharmacology, and administrative office procedures. Students are prepared for Certified or Registered Medical Assistant exams.
