Lake Land College

Lake Land College is a public community college located in Mattoon, Illinois, founded in 1966. 

Serving approximately 3,742 students in Fall 2022, it offers a range of academic programs including Agriculture, Allied Health, Business, Humanities, Math & Science, Technology, Social Science & Education, and various coursework programs. 

The campus is situated on 308 acres (1.25 km2) and has seven major buildings, eight supportive structures, two campus ponds, and a 160-acre (0.65 km2) agriculture land laboratory. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is part of the Great Rivers Athletic Conference (GRAC) in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I.
